The study aims to stand with the volumes of ancient Arabic literature, to highlight the image of Oman in poetry, and to read in the poetic diaries from the pre-Islamic era to the end of the Abbasid period, and to show the image of Oman and the purpose of mentioning it, and the basic factors mentioned for it. The study was based on three chapters, preceded by a preface in which a brief description of the reason for the designation of Oman by this name, and a historical perspective, and mentioned in the dictionaries of countries, and mentioned some poets since ancient times. In the first chapter, it is a code for the mention of Oman in the sources of ancient Arabic poetry, such as the Umayyad and Abbasid era, and then we referred to the Diwani poets of the ignorance and the Umayyad Abbasid, and reported what they wrote about Oman. In the second chapter, I mentioned the moral characteristics of the Amman picture blog, and I spoke about the ideas andmeanings contained in the poetry of the image of Oman, and then studying the imagination, art and emotion. In the third chapter, I spoke about the verbal characteristics of the code. It was mentioned in three sections. The first study examined the poetic dictionary of the image of Amman, and included the words, structures, poetic purposes, and grammatical structures. In the second part, I studied the syntactic level, where sentences and methods were included. To the image of Oman, and divided the subject to external rhythm and internal music. In conclusion, I mentioned the most important findings of the researcher through the study. *The study ended with the following results: *The first source of prose published a poetry of the image of Oman is the proverbs of the beloved prophet (178 AH / 794 AD), where he cited the verses of the poet Bashir bin Abi al-Absi, where he mentioned Oman, in the talk about the battle of Dahis and Ghbra between Abes and Zibian. • A source of poetry about the image of Oman is the book of Asma'iyat al-Asma'i (208 AH / 828 CE), al-Bayan and al-Taibeen for al-Jahz (255 AH / 868 CE), al-Amali al-Zajaji (340 AH / 952 CE) Ali al-Qali (356 AH), the book of the mystic and the book of Rabie al-Abrar and the texts of the news of al-Zamzakhri (538 AH / 1134), and the book of Khuraida al-Qasr and al-Asr newspaper for the Ashabani (597 AH). * Poets who mentioned Oman in their poems are Bashir bin Abi al-Absi and Sawar bin Al-Mudrab and Sama bin Luai bin Ghalib, Mr. Al-Humiri and Ka'b al-Ashqari and Al-loser and Amr bin Zaabal and Samhari bin Asad and Abu Jaafar blind blind. * Oman is mentioned in the pre-Islamic, Umayyad and Abbasid poetry. * After the extrapolation of pre-Islamic poetry, it found that the image of Oman emerged from the sixth century AD, before the mission of the Prophet peace be upon him eighty-five years, as the name of Amman found in the office of Amr ibn Qamainh and the mother of Qais and the perforated slave and food. * With the flourishing of poetry in the Umayyad era and its development, we find that the poetic dictionaries are reminiscent of Oman. Oman mentioned in his poetry the Umayyad triad Al-Akhtal, Farazdak and Jarir. * With the spread of the land of Muslims, and the length of time period of the Abbasid rule (132/656 e) , it was necessary to increase the number of poets in this age. After the investigation in the poets Dawaweyn, six of them mentioned the image of Oman from near or far, the poet Abu Nawas mentioned Oman more than once in his office, Ibn Duraid, Abu al-Hasan al- Tuhami, Muhyar al-Dailami, Ibn Habous, and Sharif al-Murtada, also mentioned.
