Due to the growing concern of the importance of the statistical data in our present time, and since the global community has turned to be informative society where most of the world's states depend greatly on the available statistical data in considering and analyzing the obtainable options that pave the way to establish the policies and help in decision making. The Sultanate was mindful to pay considerable attention to develop the statistical system and strived to carry out a group of measures and steps that led to befalling of a qualitative-move in the statistical work. From the spirit of practicing its functions in this field, the Ministry of Civil Service has endeavored to develop the pattern of collecting the data of the statistical book, the 40th issue, by depending on the data from Human Resources Management System ( Mawrid ). The data was a taken for a number of governmental units that apply the payroll medule in the system and of which is considered one of the most important systems that the human resources departments depend upon in different government units which are under the civil service law.
